सती, जो शिव की पत्नी थीं, अपने पिता के इस अपमान से क्रोधित हुईं और उन्होंने यज्ञ की अग्नि में आत्मदाह कर लिया।
क्रोधित होकर, भगवान शिव ने अपनी जटा से वीरभद्र को उत्पन्न किया, जो एक शक्तिशाली योद्धा था।
वीरभद्र ने दक्ष के यज्ञ को नष्ट कर दिया और दक्ष का सिर काट दिया।
बाद में, भगवान शिव ने दक्ष को बकरे का सिर लगाकर पुनर्जीवित किया।

The Incident:
Daksha, Sati's father, organized a grand yagna (Vedic ritual) but intentionally did not invite Shiva and Sati. Sati, unable to bear the insult and disrespect shown to her husband, immolated herself at the yagna.
Shiva's Wrath:
Upon hearing of Sati's death, Shiva was filled with intense anger and grief. In his fury, he pulled a strand of hair from his head and flung it to the ground, from which emerged Veerabhadra, a powerful and fearsome warrior.
Veerabhadra's Task:
Shiva commanded Veerabhadra to destroy Daksha's yagna and punish those who had insulted him.
